Voirrey Walsh has a diverse work experience history. Voirrey started their career in the British Army in 2008, where they held roles such as Second-in-Command Armoured Engineer Squadron and National Marketing Officer. In 2010, they worked at HQ Allied Rapid Reaction Corps as an Engineer & Civil Support Branch Adjutant.
From 2013 to 2017, Voirrey served in the British Army as a Senior Human Resources Officer and later transitioned to the role of a Medical Support Officer. Voirrey also attended the Intermediate Command and Staff College during this period.
In 2017, Voirrey began working as a Student Midwife at the University of Leeds. Voirrey continued their midwifery journey at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust from 2020 to 2022, where they held positions as a Registered Midwife and a Band 4 Assistant Practitioner in Midwifery.
Currently, Voirrey is employed at NHS Confederation as the Head of Workforce Supply, a role they started in January 2023. Additionally, they are also a Programme Lead for the Step into Health initiative at NHS Employers since February 2022.
Voirrey Walsh pursued their Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Midwifery, specializing in Direct Entry Midwifery, from the University of Leeds. Voirrey studied at the university from 2017 to 2020.
Prior to this, Voirrey Walsh completed their Bachelor of Science (Honors) in Forensic Science from the University of South Wales. Voirrey'sstudies in this field took place between 1998 and 2001. The specific area of focus during their degree was Forensic Science and Technology.
