Carol McNern has over 40 years of work experience, starting as a senior at Deloitte from 1981 to 1983. Carol then served as Director of Taxation at American Fiber Network (AFN) from 2009 to 2012. From 2003 to 2012, they held the position of Treasurer at Explorer Pipeline. In 2012, they joined Nichols Brothers, Inc. as the Director of Corporate Administration, where they served until October 2022. In 2018, they became the VP Legal, Tax & Corporate Compliance at The Nichols Group. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Financial Officer at Gatesway Foundation, Inc. starting from January 2021.
Carol McNern attended Stillwater High School and graduated from Thomas A Edison High School. Carol then went on to Oklahoma State University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting. After completing their undergraduate education, Carol attended The University of Tulsa College of Law from 1990 to 1993 and earned a JD degree. In addition, they obtained a CPA certification from the Oklahoma Bar Association, although the specific month and year are not mentioned.
