National Health Policy (public Health Thematic Group) Advocate at Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG)

Christian Oko is a seasoned professional in health policy and advocacy with a diverse range of experience in key organizations. Currently serving as Co-Chair for Policy and Advocacy at the Subsaharan Africa Brain Health Initiative since April 2024 and as a National Health Policy Advocate for the Nigerian Economic Summit Group since June 2021, Christian has contributed significantly to public health initiatives. Prior roles include Postgraduate Researcher at Lancaster University, Data Contributor for the Oxford Covid-19 Government Response Tracker, and Health Economics Research Assistant at the NIHR. Christian's educational background encompasses a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the University of Nigeria, a Masters in Public Health from Birmingham City University, and ongoing studies, including a Diploma in Tropical Medicine and Hygiene from the University of Glasgow.
