Director Of Learning And Impact At The Night Ministry at The Night Ministry

Damian Nelson has a diverse and extensive work experience. Damian worked as the Director of Learning and Impact at The Night Ministry from June 2020 to the present, where they are responsible for overseeing learning and impact initiatives. Before this role, Damian was a Learning & Impact Analyst at The Night Ministry from November 2019 to June 2020, and previously served as an Impact Evaluation Coordinator from July 2017 to November 2019.

Prior to their work at The Night Ministry, Damian was the Health Programming and Pantry Coordinator at EZRA Multi Service Center from May 2014 to July 2017, where they organized and managed health programs and the food pantry.

In 2014, Damian worked as a Policy Intern at Illinois Partners for Human Service from January 2014 to June 2014, gaining valuable experience in policy analysis and advocacy.

Before this, Damian served as a Research Assistant at the Social IMPACT Research Center from June 2013 to June 2014. In this role, they collected, cleaned, and analyzed data, conducted research, and wrote reports.

Damian's work experience also includes an internship with State Representative Kate Segal from August 2011 to December 2011, where they provided support and assistance in legislative activities.

Damian Nelson completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Relations and Policy from Michigan State University between 2007 and 2011. Damian then pursued a Master's degree in Public Policy and Administration at Northwestern University, which they completed from 2012 to 2014.
