The Night Ministry
Erie Sara currently serves as a Street Medicine Outreach Worker at The Night Ministry since March 2023. Previously, Erie completed a Master of Arts in Ministry at the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago in May 2022. Notable roles during this period include an internship with Extraordinary Lutheran Ministries, where Erie organized logistics for a large annual retreat, and a diaconal internship at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, engaging in pastoral care and youth leadership. Additional experience includes serving as a chaplain at Northwestern Memorial Hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic and various customer service and event coordination roles earlier in the career, such as at cleverbridge and Dragon Entertainment Group. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Music Industry from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Mission Statement: The Night Ministry is a Chicago-based organization whose mission is to provide human connection, housing support, and health care to those who are unhoused or experiencing poverty. With an open heart, we compassionately accept each individual as they are and work alongside them to advocate for their immediate physical, emotional, and social needs while affirming our shared humanity.
