The Night Ministry
Kyanna Johnson is an experienced professional with a diverse background in public health, mentorship, and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as an HIV Tester at The Night Ministry since September 2020, Kyanna has conducted numerous health tests, engaged in COVID vaccine outreach, and provided harm reduction counseling to vulnerable populations. In addition, Kyanna is a Public Ally, successfully implementing a virtual mentoring program while collaborating with schools to support student development. Previous roles include guest services, executive internship focused on grant writing and fundraising, and involvement in various civic engagement projects. Kyanna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Central Florida.

Mission Statement: The Night Ministry is a Chicago-based organization whose mission is to provide human connection, housing support, and health care to those who are unhoused or experiencing poverty. With an open heart, we compassionately accept each individual as they are and work alongside them to advocate for their immediate physical, emotional, and social needs while affirming our shared humanity.
