Michelle Byerly is an experienced executive with a strong background in nonprofit leadership and program management. Currently serving as the Executive Director of The Nonprofit Partnership since January 2018, Michelle previously held the roles of Acting Executive Director and Director of Programs at the same organization, focusing on capacity building support for nonprofits in the Long Beach region. Prior experience includes serving as Division Manager and Program Director at the YMCA of Orange County, where responsibility encompassed the management of social services programming and health and wellness initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from UC Irvine and a Master of Public Administration from California State University, Fullerton.

The Nonprofit Partnership has a direct and profound impact on our community by ensuring thousands of nonprofit professionals, board members and volunteers receive the tools and resources they need to be successful and make their organizations thrive. We provide affordable access to high-quality services that are sorely needed by nonprofits today: programming and resources that focus on building the capacity of our local community organizations by promoting collaborative opportunities, enhanced resource development, networking opportunities, custom support services and year round educational seminars and workshops. Since 1993, the Partnership has provided support to over 3,000 nonprofit organizations, over 400 each year, by helping to build their skills, strengthen their foundations, and enhance their ability to better serve their communities through education, human services, healthcare, hunger and homelessness, the arts and beyond. We serve community organizations in over 35 cities across Southern California with a focus on Long Beach, the South Bay and the Gateway Cities.
