Larry Fortes

Larry Fortes has a diverse work experience in the retail industry. Larry started their career at Safeway Canada in 1992 and held the position of Store Manager/Various Special Assignments for over 22 years. In 2014, they joined Red River Cooperative as a Retail Operations Manager and worked there until 2017. Currently, they are working at The North West Company, where they have held multiple roles including Category Manager, Director of Sales and Operations, and currently, Director of Store Operations and Support.

Larry Fortes attended Confederation College from 1995 to 1998, where they studied Environmental Engineering Technology. Larry also obtained certifications in Coaching Level 2 from Hockey Manitoba and First Aid and CPR from St John's. Additionally, Larry has certifications in ACI, Achieving Management Excellence, Certified Facilitator, Retail Leadership Development Program, and Workforce Management.
