Emine Yarar

Emine Yarar is a seasoned professional with a robust background in information security and risk management. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Gjensidige since August 2023 and a Board Member for Information Security at Den norske dataforening (DND) since June 2019, Emine has previously held significant positions at DNB as an Operational Risk Officer and at Tekna as Chairman of the Board for Tekna-IBM Services. Experience includes roles at TietoEVRY as a Quality Specialist, specializing in ISO 27001 and internal audit support, and at IBM in various capacities focused on compliance and risk management. Earlier positions include Senior Consultant at EVRY Norge, where Lean methodologies were applied to enhance customer value. Emine holds a Master’s degree in Network and System Administration from Oslo and Akershus University College and a Bachelor's degree in Informatics from the University of Oslo.
