John McGowan

John McGowan is an experienced IT professional currently serving as an IT Operations & Vendor Analyst at The NRP Group LLC since May 2021. Prior roles include Senior Consultant and Consultant at Blue Chip Consulting Group® from June 2015 to May 2021, and various technical positions such as IT Desktop Deployment & Support Technician at IBM and IT Systems Support Specialist at The Village at St. Edward. John gained hands-on experience in IT project administration and helpdesk support through numerous contract roles at organizations such as PNC and Diebold. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Computer and Information Systems Security/Information Assurance from Southern New Hampshire University and an Associate of Applied Science in Network and System Administration from ITT Technical Institute, complemented by a diploma in Business Administration and Management. Additionally, John held the position of past chapter president at the Akron-Canton Chapter of AITP.
