Mathias Tholey

Mathias Tholey has a diverse work experience. Mathias is currently working as a Co-Founder & MD at the nu company GmbH, where they focus on promoting plant-based power food to make a positive impact on health and the environment. Before that, they served as the CEO of DiGEW from 2015 to 2020. Mathias also worked as a Student of Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen at RWTH Aachen from 2009 to 2015, and as a Hilfswissenschaftler at the Institut für Stromrichtertechnik und Elektrische Antriebe from 2013 to 2014. Additionally, they gained experience as a Hilfswissenschaftler at the Lehrstuhl für Technologie- und Innovationsmanagement from 2011 to 2011, and as a Marketing Assistant at Webgains in 2009.

Mathias Tholey completed their education with a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from the University of Birmingham in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science in Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen from RWTH Aachen University, Germany, which they pursued from 2009 to 2015. In addition to their degrees, they earned a certification in Master of Science Wirtschaftsingenieurwesen from RWTH Aachen University in October 2015.
