James Langfels

James Langfels is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Director of Information Technology at The Nuclear Company since September 2024. Previously, Langfels worked as an IT Consultant for AppHarvest, providing vital support post-Chapter 11 bankruptcy and previously held the Vice President of Information Technology role at AppHarvest, where responsibilities included building and managing an IT team and designing enterprise network infrastructures. Additional experience includes roles as Director of IT Infrastructure and Operations and IT Manager at Foam Design Inc. and Florida Tile, Inc., respectively. Langfels began a career at Siemens Business Services as a Level 3 Systems Administrator, managing Local Area Networks for manufacturing facilities. Langfels holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kentucky, earned in 2001.
