Amy Cole-Gibbons

Director For Grants And Contracts At NTI at Nuclear Threat Initiative

Amy Cole-Gibbons has a diverse work experience spanning various positions in different organizations. Amy started working as a Mobile Resident Care/ Program Services Coordinator at Manor Care in 2001, where they facilitated family support groups, assessed residents for Assisted Living, and facilitated meetings and conference calls. From 2003 to 2005, they worked as a Program Services Coordinator at Somerford Corporation, where they coordinated resident activity programs and customized supportive services. Amy then joined Virginia United Methodist Homes as the Director of Resident Services from 2005 to 2008. Here, they managed various programs and staff, developed and implemented quality improvement programs, and served on the care planning team. From 2008 to 2012, they worked at the Jewish Council for the Aging as the Manager of Connect-A-Ride, where they were responsible for transportation initiatives for seniors and adults with disabilities, including needs assessments, project and budget management. Amy supervised a team, conducted outreach, and presented to the community. Since 2012, Amy has been associated with the Nuclear Threat Initiative (NTI). Initially, they served as the Grants Manager, and they are currently the Director for Grants and Contracts at NTI, overseeing grants and contracts related work.
