Rachel Staley Grant

Deputy Vice President, Communications at Nuclear Threat Initiative

Rachel Staley Grant has an extensive work experience in communications and program management. Rachel currently serves as the Deputy Vice President of Communications at Nuclear Threat Initiative since January 2022. Prior to this role, they held various positions within the organization, including Senior Director and Director of Communications. Rachel also worked as the Director of Public Education from August 2016 to January 2020.

Rachel was also a Member of the Board of Trustees at Future Foreign Policy from December 2013 to January 2021. Additionally, they worked as the Chief Partnerships Officer & Copywriter at E-Squared Agency from August 2017 to December 2019.

In the past, Rachel held roles such as Programme Manager and Programme Support Officer at the British American Security Information Council from 2011 to 2016. Rachel also gained experience as a Building the Organisation Intern at Women's International League for Peace & Freedom and as a Website Admin Assistant at Acronym Institute for Disarmament Diplomacy in 2011.

Furthermore, Rachel worked as a Communications Researcher at Peace First in 2009 and as a Research Intern at Global Security Institute from January to June 2009. Rachel started their career as a Receptionist & Community Counseling Assistant at the Irish International Immigrant Center in 2008.

Rachel Staley Grant received a Diploma in Management from UCL in 2015. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Non-Proliferation and International Security from King's College London in 2011. Rachel completed their Bachelor's degree in International Affairs and Anthropology from Northeastern University in 2010.
