Kathelijne Bottema

Kathelijne Bottema has extensive experience in nutrition and health, currently serving as Adviseur Eetomgevingen at Voedingscentrum since April 2013, leading initiatives to create supportive eating environments. Additionally, Kathelijne coordinates the Schoolkantine Brigade, a program promoting healthy school cafeterias funded by the Dutch Ministry of Health. Prior experience includes serving as Manager Voeding & Gezondheid at Suikerstichting Nederland, advocating for nutrition policy and communication, and as Senior Company Dietician at Alpro Soja Nederland B.V., where communication strategies were developed. Early career experience includes the role of Rayon Manager at Lundbeck. Kathelijne holds a degree in Voeding en Diëtetiek from Hanze and participated in a nutrition exchange program at Leeds Beckett University.
