Marvett Nelson

Marvett Nelson has been with The Oakleaf Group since 2015 and serves as Senior Human Resources Manager, as well as Senior Financial Associate. Marvett is Oakleaf’s primary human resources officer, guiding the best practices in the use of HR systems, policies, procedures, and serving as administrator for all employee benefit programs.

Prior to joining the Oakleaf team, Ms. Nelson held positions with Pressler & Senftle, P.C., a law firm in Washington, D.C., where she managed the office and the accounting responsibilities for a multi-lawyer personal injury firm, and Aurelius Consulting Group, a consulting firm in Maitland, Florida.

Marvett holds a master’s degree in Human Resource Management from University of Maryland Global Campus, and a Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, from the University of Maryland University College.
