Donna Pesek has extensive experience in fitness and health education, currently serving as a Recreation Associate at Lutheran Senior Services since September 2020, where responsibilities include supervising pool operations and teaching various exercise classes. As a Public Health Facilitator for The Oasis Institute since July 2013, Donna teaches classes focused on fall prevention and chronic condition management for older adults. Additionally, as a Group Fitness Instructor at Ace Fitness since April 2014, Donna emphasizes balance and strengthening exercises for seniors, using programs such as "Better Balance." Prior roles include Health Coach at Washington University in St. Louis, Clerical Associate at Lutheran Senior Services, and educational positions as a Paraeducator and Teacher. Donna holds a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from the University of Missouri-Columbia and a variety of fitness certifications, including a Teaching Certificate in Tai Chi for Arthritis & Fall Prevention and a Group Fitness Instructor certification from the American Council on Exercise.
