Bastiaan Dubois

Bastiaan Dubois is a Senior Business Development Manager at The Ocean Cleanup since 2019, leading multi-million dollar clean-up initiatives in major plastic-polluting rivers across various countries, including India, the United States, and Brazil. In addition to managing river interception technology development and collaboration with third-party vendors, Bastiaan co-produced significant research on the economic impact of plastic pollution in partnership with Deloitte. Previous experience includes roles as a Management Consultant at Boer & Croon, a part-time Teacher at Luzac, an Intern in Business Development at Thor Biocrude, and an Intern in the Economic Department of the Consulate General of the Netherlands in Mumbai. Bastiaan holds a Master's degree in Economics from Erasmus School of Economics and has completed various educational programs, including the Emerging Leaders Program at THNK School of Leadership.
