Marjolein van Vulpen

Marjolein van Vulpen is a Junior Environmental Researcher at The Ocean Cleanup since September 2022, focusing on Environmental and Social Affairs. Prior experience includes roles as a tutor at Lyceo, a sales administrative assistant at Solera, and participation in research internships at NIOZ Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research, where a master thesis on plastic photodegradation was completed. Marjolein has also held administrative positions at Pensioenfonds Zorg en Welzijn and PGGM. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Marine Sciences and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Utrecht University, as well as a minor from the University of Victoria.
