Brandon Lester

Brandon Lester currently serves as Senior Associate General Counsel and Associate Secretary for the Board of Trustees at The Ohio State University, where responsibilities include supporting governance, strategic communication, and engagement with the campus community. In previous roles at The Ohio State University, Brandon represented the institution on faculty-related matters and advised senior leaders on various legal issues. Brandon is also an elected member and President of the Board of Education for the Olentangy Local School District. Prior professional experience includes working as an attorney at Jones Day, representing employers in labor and employment law, and serving as a Deputy Solicitor at the Ohio Attorney General's Office, where representation involved appellate litigation. Brandon's legal career began as a Judicial Clerk for Chief Justice Thomas Moyer at the Supreme Court of Ohio. Brandon holds a Juris Doctor from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts from West Virginia University.
