Eugene Braig

Program Director, Aquatic Ecosystems Extension at The Ohio State University

Eugene Braig is a seasoned educator and musician with extensive experience in aquatic ecosystems and classical music. As the Program Director for Aquatic Ecosystems Extension at The Ohio State University since February 1999, Eugene focuses on aquatic programming for a diverse audience, including property owners and park systems, and serves the entire state. Additionally, Eugene has held various roles in the Ohio Sea Grant College Program, contributing to research and education on Lake Erie issues. In the realm of music, Eugene is an active classical guitarist and mandolinist, performing with several chamber ensembles such as Duo Kapelle and Gruviera Armonico. Eugene holds a Master's degree in Fisheries Management and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Education, both from The Ohio State University.
