Janis Jones

Janis Jones is a Senior Lecturer and CSE 2421 Course Coordinator at The Ohio State University since August 2015, focused on enhancing students' skills as employees and computer scientists. Additionally, Janis serves as an Advisory Board Member for the Electrical Engineering & Computer Science department at Ohio University and holds Emerita status as a Foundation Board of Trustees Member. Prior experience includes founding and managing Great Northern Consulting Services, Inc., a technology solutions company with significant annual revenues, and serving as a Member of Technical Staff at AT&T Bell Labs, where Janis was the first woman to achieve a senior staff position. Janis earned an MS in Computer Information Science from The Ohio State University and a BS in Mathematics from Ohio University.
