Michelle Gaines, PHR, SHRM-CP, serves as the Employee & Labor Relations Senior Representative at The Ohio State University since May 2013, providing expert guidance on workplace issues for faculty, staff, and human resource professionals. With previous experience as a Human Resources Representative at Battelle, a global research organization, and roles at Sequent, Inc. that included Human Resources and Benefits Analyst, Michelle has developed a strong foundation in human resources and employee relations. Early professional experiences include positions at Cullins Heating & Cooling as Administrative Operations Manager and at TEAM America as a Human Resources & Client Services Representative. Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Employee Assistance Counseling from Franklin University and an Associate Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Columbus State Community College.
