Dale Denwalt is an experienced journalist with a strong background in reporting and editing. Currently serving as a Reporter at The Oklahoman since January 2017, Dale previously held the position of Capitol Reporter at The Journal Record from February 2015 to December 2016. Earlier experience includes working as a City Reporter at Enid News & Eagle, where responsibilities involved covering city policies, events, and in-depth projects related to business and local government. Additionally, Dale was the News Editor/Reporter at Daily Elk Citian from July 2011 to April 2013, covering a wide range of topics including breaking news and local government. During that time, Daily Elk Citian received the Oklahoma Press Association Sequoyah Award for outstanding journalism. Dale holds a Bachelor's Degree in Journalism from Northeastern State University.
