Sam Sargant

Sam Sargant is the current General Manager at The Old Vic. Sam has over 10 years of experience in production and administration in the theatre industry. Sam started their career as an intern with Act Productions on the production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. They then went on to work as a Production Assistant Intern with Watermill Theatre / Propeller. In 2006, they became a Production Assistant with The Watermill Theatre. In 2007, Sam moved to Rose Theatre Kingston as a Development Administrator. In 2008, they became an Assistant Producer with Gate Theatre. In 2010, Sam joined Playful Productions as a Production Associate and held this position until 2017.

Sam Sargant has a MA in Cultural & Creative Industries from King's College London and a BSc in Management and Accounting from the University of Southampton.

Some direct reports include Deano McCullagh - Facilities Manager, Charlie Bedford - Bar Manager, and Owen Roberts - Bar Manager. Sam Sargant works with Helen Hodge - Associate Director of Special Projects, Dan Kujawski - Director of Theatre Management & Customer Experience, and Ella Langley - Corporate Development Officer. Sam Sargant reports to Laura Stevenson, Executive Director.
