Lynn Swann has a diverse work experience in various marketing and communication roles. Starting in 1990, Swann worked at Charleston Newspapers as a Marketing Manager and Advertising Account Executive. From 1998 to 2012, Swann served as the Director of Public Relations at The Greenbrier, managing media relations and coordinating events. In 2007, Swann was elected as a Councilperson for the City of White Sulphur Springs and also represented the city on the Greenbrier County Convention and Visitors Bureau Board of Directors. Since 2012, Swann has been working at The Omni Homestead Resort, initially as the Director of Marketing and Communications, and later in 2020 transitioning to the Complex Director of Marketing and Communications at Omni Hotels & Resorts before leaving the company in 2021.
Lynn Swann attended Wheeling Park High School from 1982 to 1985. Following high school, they enrolled at Syracuse University from 1985 to 1989, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Relations. In 2018, Swann obtained a Certificate of Completion in "Listen Up! How to Launch and Grow a Hit Podcast" from the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas.
