Carl Hopgood

Carl Hopgood is a prominent British artist born in Wales, with a diverse portfolio that includes neon, sculpture, film/video installation, and painting. As the owner and artist at Carl Hopgood Studio since September 1994, Carl has also taken roles as a production designer for The Only Agency since June 2019 and as an art director for the feature film The Shuroo Process from August to December 2019. Previous experience includes set designer/prop stylist for Opus Beauty from September 2014 to May 2018 and visual merchandiser for Paul Smith from 1993 to 1994. Carl holds a Bachelor of Arts in Fine/Studio Arts from Goldsmiths, University of London (1991-1994) and a Master of Fine Arts from the University of the Arts London (1997-1998).
