Piers Hanbury

Piers Hanbury is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in category development and management within the fresh produce industry. Currently serving as Executive Director & Category Development at Oppy since July 2022, Piers previously held multiple leadership roles at T&G Global Limited, including Head of Emerging Categories, where responsibilities included building vertical categories for Grapes and Blueberries and managing the overarching category development strategy. Piers also served as Commercial Manager for California, focusing on key export categories, and has a background in export management for Grapes and Stone Fruit. Prior positions include Category Manager at Fresh Produce Group and Operations Manager at Coles, where financial operations and team management were pivotal. Piers holds a Master of Science in Global Supply Chain Management from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Agricultural Economics from the University of Sydney.
