Luz Romero

Luz Romero is currently working at The Opportunity Network since July 2011. Luz has held multiple roles, including Manager, College Guidance & Transition, Senior Coordinator, College Guidance & Transition, and College Guidance and Transition Program Associate. Their responsibilities include providing college guidance counseling and coaching to high school seniors, conducting college transition check-ins with first year college Fellows, participating in volunteer events, serving as a peer mentor, and being a Fellow herself. Luz also has experience as a Supervisor at the Freedom & Citizenship Program at Columbia University and as a Supervisor & Head Mentor at Talent Search. Luz pursued a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature at Barnard College from 2013 to 2018.
