Charity Gibson

Charity Gibson is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in various roles within the industry. Currently serving as a Senior Accountant at The Opus Group since November 2021, Charity previously worked as a GL Accountant at Opus Agency from May 2018 to January 2022, managing cash forecasting, accounts payable teams, and ensuring compliance with GAAP accounting standards. Prior to that, Charity held the position of Assistant Controller at Willamette HVAC, LLC, where responsibilities included managing accounts payable/receivable, preparing reconciliations, and overseeing audits from state agencies. Charity began the career as a Bookkeeper at Projectus, Inc., handling comprehensive bookkeeping tasks. Educational achievements include an Associate of Science in Accounting and an Accelerated Accounting Certificate from Portland Community College.
