Brent E. Williams

Brent E. Williams, CISM, has a comprehensive work experience in the field of information security and technology. Brent E. currently holds the role of VP Information Security at The Orchard, a position they have been in since October 2018. Prior to this, they worked as a Cyber Security Advisor at The Orchard from January 2018 to October 2018.

Before joining The Orchard, Williams spent a significant portion of their career at Warner Music Group, where they held various leadership positions. From June 2013 to December 2017, they served as the Vice President - Information Security and Policy, overseeing the design and implementation of a risk-based ISO27000 information security program. Brent E. also held the role of Senior Director - Information Security and Operations from February 2005 to June 2013, where they led enterprise-wide IT initiatives and managed teams to deliver IT projects.

Williams' earlier experience includes working at Atlantic Records as the Director - Data Center Services from August 1994 to February 2005. In this role, they were responsible for managing the data center facilities and ensuring system availability met customer requirements.

Prior to their time at Atlantic Records, Williams worked at ADP as a Senior Night Operations Manager from April 1985 to July 1994. Brent E. was responsible for overseeing night operations related to client payroll processing and W2 processing.

Throughout their career, Williams has demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing information security strategies, managing IT operations and teams, and ensuring system availability and customer satisfaction.

Brent E. Williams, CISM has a education history in Business Administration and Management. From 1983 to 1987, they attended Baruch- CUNY and pursued their studies in this field. In addition to their education, Brent E. Williams, CISM holds a certification in Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) which they obtained from ISACA in September 2013.
