Derek Williams

Derek Williams has extensive work experience in the legal field. Derek is currently serving as the VP of Business & Legal Affairs at The Orchard since June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as Counsel at JONATHAN D. DAVIS, P.C for 12 years from March 2010 to June 2022. Before that, Derek was an Associate at Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler LLP from November 2002 to March 2010. Derek started their legal career as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Deborah A. Batts at the United States District Court, Southern District of New York from August 2000 to September 2002. Before that, Derek gained experience as a Summer Associate at Sidley Austin LLP in 2000 and 1999. Derek also worked as a Summer Associate at Foley & Lardner LLP in 1998.

Derek Williams obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree from Northwestern University in 1996. Derek then pursued further education at the University of Pennsylvania Carey Law School from 1997 to 2000, where they earned their Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
