Jina Anne Lee has a diverse work experience in various design roles. Jina Anne started their career as a Multimedia Designer at The Orchard in 2023, where they executed immersive experiences for artists and refreshed internal brands. Jina Anne'sresponsibilities included designing AR filters, social graphics, and merchandise for musicians. Prior to that, they were a Visual Designer at AISL Social Programmable Robot Designer, where they built the brand and conducted research to develop a robot empowering computer science learning for young girls of color. Jina Anne also co-authored academic papers and conference presentations during their time there.

Jina has also gained experience in the field of design through various roles at Carnegie Mellon University. Jina Anne served as a First Year Design Lab TA and an MA Visual Communication Fundamentals Studio TA. Additionally, they worked as an Experience & Brand Designer at the Computational Creativity Lab and was involved in designing experiences and brands.

In 2020, Jina worked as an Experience & Brand Designer at Uptone, where they discovered the foundational brand and UX of an upcoming app that personalizes audio-centric networking. Jina Anne was responsible for creating a social network that allows users to consume content without visual concentration.

Jina Anne also gained industry experience as a UX Designer at Colgate-Palmolive and Indeed.com. At Colgate-Palmolive, they focused on UX design, while at Indeed.com, they worked on UX design projects. Furthermore, Jina has contributed to research projects as a designer at the Human-Computer Interaction Institute, Carnegie Mellon University. This includes designing an Implicit Bias Measurement Tool and working as an Augmented Research Designer.

Before that, Jina worked as a Multimedia Designer at DC SCORES, where they refreshed the brand for their 25th anniversary by designing digital assets, prints, and motion graphics.

Jina Anne Lee's education history includes a Bachelor's degree in Design from Carnegie Mellon University. During their time at the university, they pursued additional minors in Human Computer Interactions and Intelligent Environments. Prior to attending Carnegie Mellon University, Jina also earned a High School Diploma from Fairfax High School.
