Stian Nicolaysen

Stian Nicolaysen has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the music industry. Stian is currently working as a Label Manager at The Orchard since August 2021. Prior to this, they were a Manager at Paperclip AS from February 2020. Stian is also a CEO and Co-Founder of the record label Mutual Intentions since June 2015, where they handle digital management, PR, and booking for various artists. Stian has organized events such as Boiler Room and has had music played on notable radio stations. Stian has also worked as a PR communication professional at Love Street Music from March 2020 to November 2020. Earlier, they served as a Label Manager for [PIAS] in Norway, providing PR, project management, and A&R services for renowned record labels. Stian gained experience as a Booking Agent at Røverstaden, a part of Oslo Konserthus AS, from September 2017 to February 2019. Stian was responsible for booking events at the newly founded venue/club. Before that, Stian worked as a Booking Manager/Assistant at Bølerklubben/Skullerud A-Hus. Stian started their career as a freelancer journalist/copywriter taking on various journalistic roles and worked at GAFFA as a journalist from August 2013 to August 2016.
