Takeshi Ueda

Takeshi Ueda serves as the Senior Director of Project Management and Customer Experience and Head of Label Service at The Orchard since April 2022, leading the music distribution operations in Japan for the joint venture between Sony Music Entertainment Japan and The Orchard. Prior to this role, Takeshi held various senior positions at Amazon from January 2013 to March 2022, including Senior Content Operations Manager for Amazon Music, where responsibilities included overseeing the podcast catalog and producing original content. Earlier experience includes a tenure at Tohokushinsha Film Corp. as a Producer in the Dubbing & Subtitling Business Division, leading localization projects for major film studios and television networks. Takeshi's career began at Express Co., LTD, directing travel programming. Takeshi holds a Bachelor's degree in Germanic Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics from Dokkyo University.
