Michelle McIntosh has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. Michelle started their career as the Director of Emergency Services at El Dorado Hospital. Michelle then worked as a Clinic Coordinator at NW Permanente Medical Group and as a Clinic Manager III at Kaiser Permanente. Later, they joined HealthFirst Medical Group as the Director of Clinical Services, where they implemented a regional call center and standardized staff allocations. Michelle then served as the Clinical Director at Providence Health & Services, where they improved physician recruitment and stabilized staffing. Michelle also worked as the Principal at McIntosh and Associates/Skye Homes NW, a real estate development and construction design firm, known for its unique custom home plans and green building certifications. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Operations at The Oregon Clinic, overseeing multiple divisions and specialties.
Michelle McIntosh obtained a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from the University of the Incarnate Word between 1976 and 1979. Michelle then pursued a Master's of Science in Nursing program at The University of Kansas from 1981 to 1982. In 2015, Michelle completed their Masters in Healthcare Administration at Marylhurst University, specializing in Healthcare Administration. Additionally, they hold a certification in Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) from the Medical Group Management Association.
