Michael R. Oreste is a seasoned professional in nonprofit and educational sectors, currently serving as a Program Officer for Donor Impact at The Oregon Community Foundation since January 2023. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Foundations and Partnerships at Catlin Gabel School, Chief Advancement Officer at Oregon College of Art and Craft, and various positions at Catlin Gabel and Portland OIC, where expertise in grant writing and fund development was cultivated. Michael holds a Master's degree in Political Science from the American University of Beirut and a degree in History, specializing in Byzantine History and Theology, from Saint Mary's College of California.
