Mike Wells

Michael Wells has extensive experience in law enforcement and leadership roles, currently serving as the Director and CEO of Oregon Lottery since April 2019. Previously, Michael held various positions within the organization, including Interim Director and Assistant Director for Security. In addition, Michael worked as a Cybercrime Manager and served as an Advisor for 3GO from August 2021 to March 2024. Michael's background includes nearly eleven years as a Special Agent in the Oregon Department of Justice’s Criminal Justice Division, focusing on Organized Crime, and time as a Task Force Officer with the FBI in the Oregon Cyber Taskforce. Earlier law enforcement experience includes roles with the Corvallis Police Department, Independence Police Department, and Oregon State Police. Michael holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix and a BS in Criminal Justice/Police Science from Western Oregon University.
