Rachel Nicole Etherington

Rachel Nicole Etherington is an experienced Program Manager at The Ortiz Group, specializing in equitable decarbonization initiatives since January 2021. In this role, Rachel develops and executes comprehensive strategies for energy transition, focusing on aligning market data with best practices for equity programs in the energy sector. Previous positions include Business Development Manager, where Rachel analyzed procurement areas and cultivated stakeholder relationships, and Incentive Layering Manager, responsible for managing the electrification of 3,000 income-qualified homes. Rachel's earlier experience includes internships in data privacy at Pacific Gas and Electric Company and public outreach at Central Contra Costa Sanitary District. Currently pursuing an MBA in Business Analytics and Organizational Leadership at Pepperdine Graziadio Business School, Rachel also holds a Political Science major and a minor in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of California, Berkeley.
