Erik Mitchell

Erik Mitchell currently serves as the Regional Integrated Access Manager for Surgical Services at The Ottawa Hospital, providing leadership in integrated care operations and models to enhance access to care. With prior experience as a Business Leader supporting various clinical operations and as a Program Lead for the Ontario eConsult Centre of Excellence, Erik has demonstrated a strong capability in program management and quality coordination. An academic background includes roles as a Teaching Assistant, Graduate Student Researcher, and Contract Instructor at Carleton University, where Erik contributed to teaching and conducted significant research in geology. Erik holds a Master of Science in Geology from Memorial University and a Bachelor of Science in Earth Science from Carleton University, alongside certifications in Lean Six Sigma and university teaching.
