Katelyn Balchin

Katelyn Balchin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in healthcare management and biostatistics. Currently serving as Corporate Manager of Coding & Data Quality at The Ottawa Hospital, Katelyn has held various leadership roles, including Program Director for the Ontario eServices Program and Business Leader for both Cancer and Surgical Service Lines and the Regional Cancer Program. With a background in biostatistics, Katelyn founded Balchin Statistical Consulting and has acted as a Biostatistician in multiple organizations. Academic contributions include serving as an Adjunct Professor at Queen's University, where Katelyn developed curricula and instructed courses in healthcare quality. Katelyn holds a PhD in Health Quality, complemented by multiple degrees in healthcare and mathematics from Queen's University and Trent University.
