Laura Barry

Laura Barry is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in healthcare management and business development. Currently serving as the Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at The Ottawa Hospital since April 2019, Laura has held several key positions, including Manager of Strategic Clinical Partnerships and Business Leader in the Finance & Business Development Department. Prior experience at Alberta Health Services from August 2007 to October 2018 included the role of Supervisor of the Eye Clinic, where Laura successfully increased audit compliance and led operational improvements. Additionally, Laura's clinical expertise as a Certified Ophthalmic Medical Technologist includes advanced skills in diagnostic testing. Education includes a Master of Business Administration from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa, expected in 2024, and a Bachelor of Science in Ophthalmic Technician/Technologist from the same institution.
