Michael Fung-Kee-Fung is a prominent figure in gynecological oncology, currently serving as the Medical Director of the Champlain Regional Cancer Program at The Ottawa Hospital since 2017. With an extensive career that includes roles as Co-Founder and Co-Lead of the Telfer Health Transformation Exchange, and as a Professor across multiple departments at the University of Ottawa, Michael has significantly contributed to cancer care and education. From 2005 onwards, Michael held key leadership positions in surgical oncology, including the Head of Surgical Oncology at the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre. Michael has also been influential in national initiatives, serving as the Chief Strategy Officer for the Society of Gynecology Oncology of Canada and Co-Chair of the Gynecologic Clinical Trials Group at the National Cancer Institute of Canada. Michael's educational background includes an Executive Program from MIT Sloan School of Management, an MBA from Queen's University, and specialized training in gynecologic oncology.
