Michele Castonguay

Registered Polysomnographic Technologist at The Ottawa Hospital

Michele Castonguay is a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist with extensive experience at Ottawa Hospital since September 1988, specializing in the collection and analysis of various sleep studies and the development of related protocols and procedures. As a chief instructor for the Ottawa General Hospital Technologist Training Program in the 1990s, Michele contributed to the training of approximately 90 polysomnographic technologists nationwide. Additionally, involvement with the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists from 1994 to 2004 included roles as an examiner and executive committee member. In the realm of music, Michele has been a vocalist with various jazz ensembles since December 2008. Educational qualifications include an Honorable Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Ottawa and a Diploma in Health Sciences from Champlain Regional College.
