Samantha Hamilton

Samantha Hamilton currently serves as the Vice-President of Quality and Performance at Bruyère Health, a position held since January 2025. In addition to this role, Samantha is a Board Member at VON Canada and a part-time professor at the EHA Program at the University of Ottawa, both positions starting in September and April 2023, respectively. As Chair of the Ottawa Christmas Cheer Foundation Board since February 2023, Samantha contributes to the community. Academically, Samantha is the Academic Director and Lead Faculty for the Quality & Patient Safety Leadership Program with Telfer Executive Programs since October 2016, and serves as Lead Faculty at CHA Learning since September 2019. Previous experience includes serving as Regional Director and Director of Quality & Patient Safety at The Ottawa Hospital since September 2014, as well as roles in quality and risk management at ParaMed Home Health Care and Canadian Blood Services. Samantha holds a BSc in Microbiology from the University of Waterloo and further qualifications in leadership and risk management.
