Beena Raju

Beena Raju is an experienced educator and leader in the field of business studies, currently serving as a Volunteer Member at The Outreach Collective since January 2023. Beena holds the position of Head of Department at Dubai Gem Private School since August 2018, managing a team of seven and overseeing the curriculum for Accounting, Business Studies, and Economics for IGCSE, AS, and A levels under Cambridge Assessment International Education. Prior to this role, Beena was an IB and MYP Business Studies Teacher at Emirates International School Meadows from September 2007 to July 2018, where notable achievements included guiding students to exceptional Level 7 results in Business Management. Beena's previous experience also includes leadership as Head of the Business Studies Department at both Dubai Gem Private School and English Medium School Dubai. Beena's educational background includes an Associate’s Degree in Managerial Accounting from the Institute of Management Accountants and a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from Sree Kerala Varma College.
