Joe Doherty

Joe Doherty is an experienced professional in the field of adventure education and outdoor learning. Currently serving as the Learning and Adventure Manager at The Outward Bound Trust since January 2015, Joe leads initiatives that enhance adventure and environmental education at the Aberdovey and Ogwen centres, while supporting instructors in their delivery of impactful courses for young people. Prior to this role, Joe worked as a Senior Instructor, focusing on high-impact learning in challenging environments. Joe's earlier experience includes serving as a Climbing Coach and Wall Supervisor at Calshot Activities Centre and as an Instructor at Ferny Crofts Scout Activity Centre, where responsibilities included safety management and session facilitation across various adventurous activities. Joe's educational background includes attendance at Sparsholt College Hampshire.
