Josiah Boehlke

Josiah Boehlke is an experienced educator with a focus on special education and teaching primary years. Currently serving as a PYP Special Education Teacher at The Overseas School of Colombo since July 2021, Josiah previously held the same position at the International School of Penang from August 2018 to July 2021 and worked as a Year 3 Teacher/Special Education Teacher at Kennedy House International School from September 2014 to August 2018. In earlier roles, Josiah collaborated with general education teachers as a Special Education Teacher at the Rochester City School District and designed ESL instruction for incoming refugee children at Fallsview Academy. Josiah's academic background includes a Master's degree in Curriculum Development & Instructional Technology from the University at Albany and a Bachelor's degree in Health Science, Elementary Education, and Teaching from the State University of New York College at Brockport.
