Kira Malatchi (she/her)

Kira Malatchi currently serves as a Whole School Counseling Intern at The Overseas School of Colombo, a position held since August 2023. Prior to this role, Kira worked as a Grade 3 Teacher at the American United School of Kuwait from October 2017 to September 2023, and as a Year 4 Teacher, ELL Teacher, and Year 10 MYP Language Acquisition Teacher at Esbjerg International School from August 2016 to October 2017. Kira also has experience teaching Grade 2 at the American International School Kuwait from August 2012 to June 2016. Kira holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Colorado Boulder, a Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, and is expected to complete a Master of Education in International School Counseling from Lehigh University in May 2024.
