Hugo Fuentes

Hugo Fuentes is currently the Co-Founder and CEO of The Owl Solutions. Prior to this, they served as Vice President Global Planning and Procurement for the Factors Group of Companies from October 2015 to November 2018. In this role, they were responsible for leading the transformation of the demand and supply planning process, leveraging Sales and Operations (S&OP) and Data Analytics as key management tools. Hugo also collaborated with cross functional teams to implement Supply Chain best-in-class processes and systems.

From November 2013 to October 2015, Fuentes served as Supply Chain Director for Finning South America. In this role, they were responsible for developing Supply Chain internal capabilities to support the Organization to achieve its strategic goals in the coming years.

Prior to their role at Finning South America, Fuentes served as Director of Supply Chain Council Chile from March 2014 to October 2018. In this role, they were responsible for evolving Sourcing and Procurement to become a significant source of competitive advantage in Company's bottom line.

Fuentes began their career in Supply Chain & Logistics Management with Tresmontes Lucchetti in October 2009. Hugo served in this role until October 2013 when they were promoted to Director Operations and Logistics for CSAV. Hugo held this position until September 2009 when they left to start The Owl Solutions.

Hugo Fuentes has a degree in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Valparaíso and a Master of Science in Maritime Economics and Logistics from Erasmus University (Rotterdam School of Management).
